  1. Exactly, what the hell were you doing out there? I always tell my kids….think before you do something. You're not only putting your life in danger, you're also putting the lives of others in danger to save you

  2. Initially Suzie had steering issues with her boat during the storm so she towed a storm drogue behind the boat. This underwater device is designed to slow and stabilize the boat. Unfortunately, the rope (rode) attached to the drogue broke. Without a storm drogue the boat sailed too fast down the wave and flipped over. Suzie was one of the better prepared sailors in the race. You can do everything right, but sometimes the ocean still wins.

  3. I'm a bit annoyed that this report neglects to mention that there were 18 entrants, 17 males and one female (Susie). Nine of the men have already dropped out, 3 of them having been demasted, similar to what happened to Susie. She was in fourth place when her storm hit.

  4. Ohhh Emilia 🤣😂

  5. She was set adrift on memories bliss of love. Lucky to still be alive. Will Chili be sending a bill ? 😆
