8. My daughter is utterly depressed from starting a new school (socially awkward with ASD) not getting facial cues. Alone and isolated in a sea of people. Enough, make it optional in NY!!! We have a high vaccine rate and a free pill you can call to get delivered. Enough. Masks don’t work with omicron. We only went out with masks and all got omicron. I see Hochul is doing a Sh-t job looking at this aspect

   If authorities cared about learning loss, they would have built online learning systems that actually worked. They would have consulted fully online schools that have existed for decades. They did not. They self-sabotaged so they could insist "we need to get children back in school!!!" Don't listen to their faux "concern" now. There's still a 9/11-level death event happening daily.

    Does such an animal exist? If so, I would go out on a limb and say that this woman is far too young to be an "expert" on parenting, as I would say that in order to be such an expert, one must be, not only old enough to have reared a higher-than-average number of children, but old enough to have had these children grow to adulthood, and successfully raise their OWN children to adulthood. Unless this woman meets such criteria, she is no "parenting expert", as she couldn't possibly be old enough.

Makes sense to me, its hard for people with kids in school to understand someone who has to be around dozens of kids who may/may not have a virus and fear for their but its hard for teachers to understand parents who have to live children who not only have to learn from home but be home all day and parents who have to work AND manage their child in class along with various social/psychological issues its doing to their kids 🤷🏿‍♂️
