11. This is a lie. There are no reinfections. If there were, at such rate, the pandemic would not only not be ending, it would in fact be feeding on itself. What we are seeing in the UK now is a surge in cases brought on primarily by waning vaccine immunity. Do we all ken (Outlander fan) what "waning" means? Did we stop to think what that must eventually entail? Well, we're seeing it now. It was to be expected, by anybody with half a brain. Every country with a high number of vaccinations should expect this. Countries with a lower number of vaccinations, such as South Africa, will tend to escape a new surge.

    What this all means, bottom line, is that the end of the pandemic is not quite so close as we would like to believe. We still have to deal with waning vaccine immunity. So what's the solution? More boosters, you say? OMG, save me from idiots. Each successive round of boosters wanes more quickly than the last. Soon we'll be getting jabbed weekly. Or we could just let it play out naturally. No more boosts. Just let it play out.
