14. In times past goat milk was given to babies with sensitivity, as it is not from cows… Before formula, people used half pet or carnation evaporated milk with half water. Then add a tablespoon of Karo dark syrup. That was for babies without milk allergies though. Just sharing what I have heard from older moms from the past and recall seeing prepared for an infant cousin years ago.
