  1. If these rules were in place in 2016….thenwhy, did this sick man keep his job , all these years, and then he took a man's life…in 2020. Where is his soul? He didn't know the man was giving up his Spirit…for 9.5 minutes? He's Blessed that he was charged with 2nd degree murder, when in fact, it was 1st degree murder, and now his attorney wants zero time in prison and be put on probation!?! That's a pot of hot coals in the faces of ALL America. This sad cop…. didn't have the mental/emotional capacity to be in law enforcement. I'm a nurse, and if I see a co-worker commit a crime, I have, and will, and should, turn them in after I interrupt the attempt of the offense. Those other officers with chauvin, obviously were not taught, what you say they were taught in 2016. Cops don't turn their selves in, or any other cop. They helped their leader kill a man. George had a past, well, chauvin has a colorful past too. Prosecutor Jerry…..much respect for you. Please bring this up during appeal attempts.

  2. Daniel Wagner Toledo Ohio president of policeman association you are not above the law

    Stop police brutality

Stop making misdemeanour crimes into resisting arrest and killings

  3. The problem or disconnect here seems to be one of understanding. There seems to be a prevailing impression in black communities that NOT doing what a police officer tells you to do during an arrest, arguing with them about guilt or innocence (wrong time, wrong place for that), and trying to run away from the cops are EVER good ideas. That behavior in and of itself is a crime. NO ONE helps themself with that behavior. I think it’s imperative we give tutorials to the public about what LAW is, why we have it, what it’s for, how the criminal process works and what everyone’s role is in that process. Maybe that would help. Surely no one advocates theft or fraud, carrying a weapon when you shouldn’t have one, violence against another person. If that behavior were allowed by everybody, there would be chaos. So then how do we prevent people from engaging in these actions? Are there really thefts and fraud that “aren’t that bad”? Or people shouldn’t be held accountable for? Who should make that call? Is it based on amount of money,? where it occurred? How it occurred? These are NOT questions police officers are supposed to answer, agreed? That is for the legislature made up of elected representatives to work out. Police are there to enforce those decisions. Considering one needs but a GED to be a cop, it seems ridiculous to expect an officer to answer the questions above, assess the specific situation, and choose the appropriate amount of “force” to accomplish an arrest ALL with minimal information about the situation and in a split second. Could you do that perfectly every time? It’s not just law enforcement that needs to change its consciousness. Black communities need to develop a new understanding of the law and its purpose. This HAS to be a group project encompassing all Americans or its pointless. All this factioning is accomplishing nothing. Can we PLEASE STOP POINTING FINGERS AND ASK OURSELVES WHAT AND HOW WE CAN CHANGE AS INDIVIDUALS TO MAKE THINGS BETTER? EVERYONE will need to sacrifice and work together to get us out of this mess we’re in.

  4. Ngl American police kinda look scary. Lol I’m not saying all of them are bad but they just look like they aren’t human.

  5. The police lobby was always going to get behind Trump; given Obamas track record, they didn't trust Biden.

The police lobby is powerful, much like the teacher unions. The police lobbyists picked off Democrat pawns, rooks, and bishops… harassed them here and there… and the Democrats pushed back with MLK themed, Civil rights protests.

The brutal thing is… this showdown had to happen to force the police to listen. It's almost impossible to convince them given the defunding from Obama's administration. They were cut back and unsupported. They wanted to keep their gains at all costs. Towards the end of the election, after the Summer protests/riots… I think the police started to realize that they leaned in on something Trump's campaign created. They were a lot of casualties in this election. Completely unnecessarly casualties. He wasn't looking out for their best interests.

Luckily, Kamala Harris was actually extremely popular with sheriff and police in the Bay Area. We can heal with a plan going forward.

  6. Lets not let people make laws who have no expertise in what it takes to be a police officer. The issue with police officers isn't the tactics..but more so WHO the officers are. You take away a good officers tools to take down and apprehend a suspect, you are putting their lives and the suspects lives in more danger. If the officer can't use his tactics and the suspect gets violent…then the officer will have to raise his level of violence as well…and that is not helping anyone. Give them the tools/training to do their job…but more so lets filter out the garbage people who shouldn't be cops in the first place.

  7. I have called the police more than once when I was in need of their help and it back fired every single time. Defund then because they don’t do anything anyways. You are better off defending and protecting urself. So why am I paying taxes?

  8. A big part of the problem is the fact that policing is used to fund cities in this country, cops are incouraged to turn everything into a crime to write tickets and make arrests because it makes money for the city. We need to take away the money making aspect of policing before anything is going to change.

  9. Cops are already supposed to step in and stop fellow officers from using unnecessary force. Thats the whole point morons, they dont step in because they dont care. They wre all filthy criminals.

  10. They don’t need training white cops kill peoples of color period. Compare to black cops they know what they are doing study the paperwork look at the numbers I say defund the police department we don’t need to pay government murders weed them out.

  11. The Police Officer who shot Philimon Castille is the same police officer who was standing by while Derick Chavin knelt on George Floyds neck.

  12. Wow. Well a lot of good this policy did. Wtf? If this was the policy why was it the only video we have of George is from the people? where was his prevent lose of life?

  13. It will look like thousands of homeless in the streets filled with human waste and dirty needles. Oh I’m sorry, I was thinking about every single city run by democrats

  14. obviously make a law that States if an officer uses excessive force resulting in death, said officer will automatically be arrested and charged. no slap on the wrist. the badge is not a shield and you are not above the law.

  15. We mustn't let a few bad apples cloud our judgement! Sort and throw 'em out and also all police personnel have to undergo evaluation mental check every half yearly or so to see any signs of aggression inclination, PTSD and other mental stress!

  16. It's time to disband the police department who acts as a whip of the government , a ploy to subdue the people to get more taxes, taxes not spent on welfare but wasted on wars

  17. Business owners must sue the mayor, he is responsible for these protesters and takes no action to stop their robberies, and did not immediately allow the president to send help to the police. Mayor and his liberal DA office are the problem.

  18. Knee-on-Kneck is a technique taught by PD around the country. This is not a new technique. The technique will continue to be used to restrainst criminals. Sorry, we continue to use Knee on Neck regardless
