Armed Taliban fighters have set up checkpoints and are patrolling the streets of Kabul, Afghanistan, days after the militant group took control of the country. Despite heavily armed patrols, Taliban leaders have promised a peaceful transition of power and declared “amnesty†for all Afghans as thousands try to flee the country.
