  1. Is this the example of white privilege we are told is occurring in our court system? This looks like a fair trial. I do not think this was ever a matter of race. This simply an example of an incompetent woman who was not qualified for the responsibility bestowed on her. Justice will not be served as nothing can bring Daunte Wright back. He is dead because of this woman's conduct. His conduct was not punishable by death. Society needs a spectrum of examples; we can showcase this as to why a middle-aged woman who sat on her ass and never took training seriously, should not be allowed to carry a lethal weapon.

  2. It's amazing how they always try to pick all whites as jurors thinking it will get thier cient off..that's racist as well. Thank God they found her guilty.

  3. Good! It was wreckless and pure negligence. Deadly mistakes like that from a trained officer is inexcusable. She's been a cop how long??? Exactly, 26 or approximately! She prolly shoulda retired ions ago.

  4. People are incredibly stupid, saying it was justified. In that state fleeing in a car warrants lethal force or it doesn't. it's not a matter of opinion.
Using a taser most likely was 100% justified and legal. Shooting the suspect in the heart with a gun probably isn't. This officer seemed to know right away what she did was NOT
legal. She stated she was going to prison. Our opinion doesn't matter. Either way it's a good thing she won't be a police officer anymore. A year or two ago, two pilots
flew past their destination airport by 150 miles. Both their licenses were revoked. No excuses accepted. A mistake that ends a persons life must have consequences.
She's only going to do a few years, then she gets out with a pension. She should consider herself lucky. She get get 10 years and be out in 4.

  5. This country has gone way too far with sending people to prison any chance they can. And it’s mostly driven by the media that’s destroying this county. What a joke. Sending her to prison is not gonna change anything.

  6. This is FRIGGIN BS!🤬🤬🤬 She shouldn't have ever even been charged! YES she made a fatal MISTAKE BUUUUT it never would have happened if he weren't trying to escape!!! He brought it on himself PERIOD!!!!🤬

  7. This is not right nor fair. Kim Potter is not the first cop to make a mistake under high pressure. But she is one of the first to be publicized and this is not the year for cops to make mistakes. I can't wait to see what happens to the poor sap that shot a kid in the dressing room. That was a mistake and apparently, cops are not allowed to make mistakes. I certainly don't applaud the judge for she is only following suit that she thinks is expected. The sentencing better be very light, if not, I do not blame every cop in the United States to walk out. I am so, so sick of thugs resisting arrest and challenging police officers and then listening to their family cry when things go awry. When the police tell you to stop, just stop.

  8. Yahoo has an article today saying one of the jurors said Kim Potter made a mistake but that shouldn't absolve her from justice because she was trained in her job. Wait. 4 million people signed a petition (on Twitter I assume) saying a truck driver who was trained in his job, drives 85 MPH for over 30 miles with plenty of chances to slow down or stop his truck ("My brakes failed!") then plows into stopped cars, kills 4 people and injured and maimed many others should be shown compassion?

  9. I believe that all the dirty police officers should have been guilty!!!😡😡😡🗑👎rest in peace Daunte Wright! I am so sorry for Daunte Wright family 😭😭😭

  10. What would you all say had he led them on a high speed chase and killed other motorists? I guarantee most of you would still blame cops. Most of you said he was pulled over for being black. Well, his arresting officer was darker than he was.

  11. Taser guns are still fairly new she's been in the police force for some time it was most likely just second nature to use her gun in a situation which was a reaction in the heat of the moment and even if she realized it was the wrong gun she was already past the point of return. If the stupid driver would of just complied with the officers nothing would of happened now two lives are ruined because of ignorance. Police should all go on strike. then who you going to call when in distress..ghost busters?

  12. Tragic but he resisted arrest and fled. He also had a warrant. He could have also used his vehicle as a weapon. The officer did what she had to do. So criminals can just do whatever they want these days and not be held accountable..?

  13. A 1 eyed man has a 1 legged girl friend … and after awhile he decides to tie the knot.

So he gets a ring , gets down on one knee , and says "Will you Marry Me !?! "

    She says " Would I , Would I " ?!?

And he says " peg Leg , peg Leg ,.,.,., hrmph !

  14. She may be guilty but atleast there's one less criminal doing worse everyday.
What i find bizarre is how it's allowed to influence a jury. Clearly there is no option except guilty with all the hoodlums out front. Peaceful protest sure shockingly enough but definitely a influence if not the definitive in the end.
I just thank the Lord i live in an area where people have their head on straight.

  15. You Murdered a Boy….. You Shot him in the belly when he was unarmed…. You Murdered a Black Boy for No Reason May God Have Mercy on You….Kim Potter You Pulled your Gun Out and Shot a Un Armes man…. for this you will Recieve your sentence… Let us pray for the Victine he is Dead while Kim Lives.. So This is Our Justice System.. I WILL Pray for You Kim… You had no chance To win this Case.

  16. She would have NEVER been in that situation if this THUG hadn't have broken the law and committed multiple felonies in the first place. Just saying. "I don't want to speak for all the jurors, but I think we believed she was a good person and even believed she was a good cop," the juror said. "No one felt she was intentional in this."
This is grounds for an immediate appeal as it demonstrates the jury was wrongly charged by the judge. If this juror's statement is true, it means no version of manslaughter applied and in fact the case was not criminal at all. A good cop who made an honest mistake that results in a death has not committed a crime. They have committed a civil tort that is addressed in a lawsuit. No "honest mistake" committed by "a good person," especially in the heat of an extremely chaotic situation that would strain a reasonable person's ability to react, is criminal in nature. For a mistake to be criminal, it has to rise to the level of conduct so deeply negligent or reckless that no reasonable person in the same circumstances would engage in it (that's the standard for a crime). We don't have that here, and even this juror admits it. Which means the law was wrongly explained to the jury.
