I have never agreed with Trump's phony, misleading, fake and brainless ideas and rulings but whole heartily agreed with him that America has no business in Syria and America can no longer be a world policeman any longer. His order to withdraw our troops from Syria is very well thought and well in our interest. Hope, he should go one step ahead and pull out all our military from Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, Yemen and many other nations, where we really have no strategic interest. I know many war mongers will object but Trump should continue his march to bring back our troops from the abroad and save billions of our tax dollars. At least he will be remembered forever for this great action in our national history.

19. Wow! GOOD news coming from the Middle East? I'm about to have a heart attack. POTUS gave us all a nice Christmas present. I hate most of his ideas (tax cuts, gutting universal healthcare, doing nothing about the continuing degradation of the environment), but this one was a winner. Gotta give credit where credit is due.

20. Lets go over a bit of history, shall we? In 2007 Bush decided a surge was needed to stabilize Iraq. The surge DID stabilize Iraq. In 2008 Obama won based upon a promise that he would remove the troops from Iraq. In 2009 the troops were removed. That set up a vacuum which ISIS filled. According to Obama's plan, ISIS then began murdering, raping, and persecuting people in Northern Iraq, Southern Turkey, and Western Syria. Those people became refugees and INVADED the European Union, all but bringing down the democracies there. Now then, this situation led to Hillary deciding that it would be good to invade Syria and depose Bashar Asad. It was the perfect opportunity to do to him what she had done to Gadhafi in Lybia. This placed us in direct conflict with Syria and Russia. We managed to survive that conflict without it escalating into a major war. Now Trump wants to bring the troops home by Christmas but the military industrial complex which brought you all these lovely wars wants to remain in Syria so that we can continue to spend $4,000,000,000,000.00 (yes that is a real number) per year, going to exotic places and killing people … AND THE IDIOTS WHO SUPPORTED THIS FAILED LUNACY WANT TO DOUBLE DOWN

23. I'm not saying the 17 July 2018 closed door session with Putin was an affirmation of Kompromat and the date for U.S. military withdrawal from Syria but if there was a more objective reason for the sudden announcement I would surmise the American people would like to know.
