  1. Every person who has worked a job knows, jobs have "short cuts" to get their product / services out to the public. Best believe Boeing is doing the same thing.

  2. There is a deeper cancer in airplane manufacturers and that is they have eliminated or destroyed their calibration departments.
    The instrumentation used to verify aircraft components is not being calibrated adequately. I did an embedded calibration tech job for a month at one aircraft supplier where I witnessed one "calibration technician" with no training in metrology was changing specifications and test points on his own with no adequate supervision. His Quality supervisor had no experience in calibration and the major goal was "don't interfere with the production schedule, don't make waves." Calibration was subservient to the whims of test engineers who could care less about calibration….

    Quality control has become a paper pushing exercise with junior "quality engineers" verifying that calibration stickers and certificates look good, but totally failing to check whether procedures and calibration standards are being used correctly. This results in measurements that are out of control and nobody at these manufacturers are even qualified enough now to even realize it.

    The manufacturers have test stands that have instrumentation that is not being calibrated properly and so the measurements are off all over the place.

    I can honestly tell you that as a calibration/metrology technician with 30 years of experience I have never seen manufacturer's measurement calibration systems so out of control, including but not limited to aircraft manufacturers and suppliers.

  3. I don't want to be mean , but USA is grounding the max just because of the other countries when instead they should've been the first ones to ground it . First time was a mistake, people lost their lives but unfortunately shit happens in aviation. Second time was no mistake and FAA and Boeing are clearly responsible for those that lost their lives and and those that were at high risk the whole time especially when they knew exactly what was the problem and did nothing to fix it . If any of you think that they "trying to figure out" what's wrong then you're blind , the only thing what they are trying to do now is to waste time , wait for people to forget and slowly fixing the problem like it never happened.

  4. Boeing runs their business like Trump. I will fly AIRBUS whenever possible. Trump and his corrupt transportation department REFUSED to halt the 737 max until they could not take the pressure. Goes to show you there motto. Money before people lives…
