How ironic that a man that spent his life spewing half truths and flat out lies, which has spread across the country like a cancer, has turned and infected him with cancer in the organ from which it originated. When he first burst onto the scene, shock radio
was a new format that seemed harmless because it was so over the top and known to be total BS. Everyone knew he was just riding the wave to cash the check. However, others saw the opportunity to cash-in on the format and it quickly turned into an industry. Unfortunately the other talking heads quickly learned that the format required a continuous string of topics to rant about, even if the rant was a misrepresentation of facts or completely fabricated. This increased volume and normalization of hate and repeating lies to the masses until they are considered truth has accelerated the country’s social decline of continually racing to the bottom and lowest common denominator. His acceptance of the Freedom Medal from tRump was a political stunt and an insult to all other recipients that were/will be awarded the honor for upstanding acts of substance. His legacy will be that of hate, division and profiting from a life of lies. The country would have been better off if he never existed, but his swift yet agonizing end is well earned and properly reflective of his shameful life.
