Town mourns student killed in train collision with school bus

1. Driver shouldn't have been driving in the first place. City should've taken proper precautions prior to the incident. We all know the cause of the crash.

   It drives me nuts when they try to blame the conditions of the railroad crossing for the accident. The crossing has no gates or lights? Okay, it’s still the drivers responsibility to cross safely and according to law.

19. My bus driver has never ONCE fully stopped at a railroad crossing. The driver only kind of slows, and has gotten close to making a complete stop before, but never does. The driver doesn't even do the thing where they're supposed to look both ways with the door open and the ac and radio off.

22. this thing is in san antonio the driver did not die the kids did he tried to kill himself next time there in his car but the kids spirt pushed him for safety if you put something on there you would see the hands prints on the back of your car but people almost died using it and now there closing it so no one gets hurt people did it🤢🧟‍♂️

26. No way of altering the bus driver of the train you can clearly see the crossing mechanism with lights bells and seams to be working just fine. Bus driver ether failed to stop or tried to beat the train.

27. They said there was only crossbucks, but in some of the pictures and videos it clearly shows a gated crossing

30. Bus should STOP at crossing. Open door, open driver side window, switch off NOISE button for all noise on bus. Which silences the radio,fans,heaters. You would definitely hear the train. Which they had said that the train did sound its whistles.
