  1. I wouldn't assume the parents were irresponsible. Probably more a bit naive about how easy it could be for a small child to fall through the fence or perhaps a real accident in which the parent could have been holding onto the child and loss their grip or something. You never know. Until video footage is released and all of the full details as well….please shut the hell up judging the parents as many of you who are judging probably will make honest mistakes as parents or already have if you're a parent. I swear everyone thinks they're perfect and that they have no potential to be HUMAN sometimes. 🙄

  2. One of the parents probably threw the child in “oh nooo, child fell through the small gap, we gonna sue now and win, oh nooo”….

  3. Any 2 year old kid without any kind of supervision is dangerous even when not in a zoo. No good parent would leave a 2 year old kid out of their sight

  4. Is nobody going to mention how WEAK and FLIMSY that fence looks?? They are Rhinos and despite the fact that they are allowing people to touch them, they have 8" gaps in the fences that look like they could be easily run down by the Rhinos.

  5. You can’t fix stupid!
Just because one parent lost track of their kid in front of two two ton animals doesn’t mean the rest of us should lose the privilege of meeting these amazing creatures!

  6. Keep a rhino locked up against its will to profit from it then wanna kill the poor thing cause some dumb parent can't keep an eye on their kid…Happy to be an American 👎

  7. The rhino experience?! Rhinos, wonderful creatures though they are, are also dangerous! This was negligent of the zoo, to have this sort of attraction and let kids in anyway. Add that it was possible the child wasn't being properly monitored or held onto and I'm surprised this hasn't happened before.

  8. Try to imagine stupid people, and then imagine a Gorilla, and the blatant stupidity exhibited by parents in that situation. If you are still having a problem imagining the level of sheer absurd stupidity to that level, imagine a person rolling down their windows driving through a lion exhibit and being attacked and killed. Oh sir, I think you can "imagine something like this happening…."

  9. Was it the zoo's fault of the stupid parents not watching their child! I'm so tired of these punk passive parents who let their children run wild.

  10. The parents could have played this scenario wiser. They could have held the child's hand while she pets the rhino or held her while she pets a rhino. I'm sure hundreds of toddlers have passed through that exhibit without problem because their parents helped them and kept an eye on them. They should not close this exhibit just because one family decided not to exercise common sense that day. The zoo should tighten the gaps or make it squares that people can stick a hand through so that way a kid can't slip through again. That was an uh-oh to begin with. That do have to dummy proof so that they don't get sued when parents don't bother to effectly look after their children. But Rhino's don't deserve any sort of punishment or harm done to them, they didn't do anything wrong.

  11. There's always that one idiot that makes it difficult for the rest of us. This is zoo has been open for years now and I'm sure several thousands of parents with their kids have walk through there and no incidents like this occurred but there's always one idiot that could potentially ruin it for the rest of us to enjoy this experience. Take this mother and have a public spanking

  12. It's Florida I'm ALMOST POSITIVE that the mother pushed her kid in there or set it up, in order to get a lawsuit !!!
