Ever since Garo Yepremian played for the Miami dolphins, the kicking game is gradually evolved into the soccer kick. So eventually some female soccer player would have to try out. If some girl can kick 55 yards consistently, that’s probably 40 yards longer than I can. By the way, yeah Yepremian was about the same height as Carli Lloyd.
To many steps to get to the ball and she did some fire up things with the energy of her legs on approach to the ball.she can kick. to play at that level it isn't just how far or accurate a kicker is. How fast can he put the ball in the air and avoid it being blocked

I noticed the 4 steps (Actually 4 1/2 steps). Kickers barely get 3 steps. She would be blocked a lot. The last kick they showed I counted 6 stepe. Also. Can she kick a "55-yarder" or just 55 yards?? That is good in itself. But she will need to take 3 steps off her kicking routine.

average NFL field goal is 35 yards, average completion % is 85%. If she can do better, that's all that matters. As far as folks comments on Kickers and tackling, unfortunately very few kickers are good tacklers. Avg Kicker salary is $1.59 mill…..or about $19,000 every time they kick the ball in a game

too slow. Looks better than all previous attempts. She might get a kickoff, but what good is a kicker that needs that kind of runup? Not going to work on the extra point. And who needs a kickoff specialist who can only do kickoffs at the median range and is a huge liability in any other scenario?

I’ll put it this way. I had a friend who was an absolute stud for a college soccer program that was consistently winning 9 of 10 national championships, virtually every year. He was their top goal scorer. So safe to say above Carli’s level. He tried out as a place kicker for the Eagles. Never made the team 🤷ðŸÂ»â€ÂÂÂÂ♂ï¸ÂÂÂÂ
