31. If Cruz was indeed here in Cancun, it’s been quite clandestine … no fanfare or hoopla.
    The weather is certainly warmer but not all that pleasant … high winds and cloudy.
    Probably ensconced in a “gated community” a la Mexico, he would have hardly seen what he should be seeing, and likely couldn’t care less. Cancun is a large 'pueblo’, some 1 million people.
    They’re desperate. The coronavirus has been devastating decimating small businesses left and right. Violent crime has mounted hugely and hospitals are over run. No wonder the government has opened its border to american tourists despite the risks. The citizenry is not enjoying the handouts that americans are getting from their government. The poor are starving. I’m seeing first hand.
