22. Any loss of life especially that of American soldiers conducting a humanitarian mission is tragic. These things are always a mess. Saigon 1975, Beirut 1983 hundreds of American and French soldiers killed unfortunately the list is long. 100,000 people have been flown out in two weeks. From a purely logistical view that is amazing. The truth is we should have left years ago. The truth is American noncombatants were told to leave months ago and didn't. There's nothing to be done about the past. I am just glad we're finally getting out.
