The irony of a woman making plans to leave or divorce to stop ongoing abuse, is that the most dangerous time of all for her & the kids, is actually after she leaves (or threatens to leave/take custody of the kids) her abuser. A safety plan including a hidden safe womens /kids refuge, must be a part of any womans plan to leave an abusive relationship. Unfortunately, the risk of leaving him often outweighs the risk of the initial abuse living together. Sad but true. A catch 22

18. They're focusing so much attention on this woman because she's white, rich, pretty, and lived in a wealthy area. Meanwhile there is another woman of minority who is missing from CT as well and nobody is talking about her case! What a sad world we live in…

20. It's very horrible situation. I haven't heard the mother stopped working so she could spend proper time raising her children, or at least only worked part time. Just how good of a mother was she? These kids are the nanny's and auPair's kids. God help these phoney people who worship their jobs, property and money.

31. Well here we go again with another missing mom. These situations always turn out with the same results.Unfortunately I feel bad for Jennifer and her kids . The estranged husband is most likely involved in Jennifer's disappearance and murder.
