  1. I am in russia now. This poor girl, Kamila, endured HELL. Dec 15th she had her test for doping. And a MONTH later, 2 days before her Olympic skate, they announce she "has something in her blood" similar to doping. At 15, she is bullied, harrassed and forced to watch the 7 hour court trial online. She hasnt slept, she was stressed…how do you think a 15 yr old would perform under such harsh attack? This is POLITICs, dirty politics and jealous people who PLANNED her to lose. She was stripped of her chance to perform for a medal.

  2. I feel terrible for this girl. It pisses me off that the commentators (Tara Lipinski and Johnny Weir specifically) are acting as judge, jury and executioners, claiming she "should not have been allowed to skate" even though she was cleared to skate BEFORE the Olympics started. They should just comment on the skating, period. They have only contributed to the demonizing of this girl in real time which has probably destroyed not only her career, but likely her future, at age 15! Shame on them and everyone else piling on the bandwagon. She's clearly head and shoulders above the competition. That's not because of any heart medication. It's because of the rigorous training, period. I get the "doping" thing, but first let's be clear that heart medication is not the same as steroids. This isn't the Lance Armstrong story. It's not changing your body mass or fitness level any more than caffeine or pseudoephederine in cold medicine changes you (remember when the 16 year old Romanian was stripped of her gold medal because her doctor had given her a cold medicine that contained pseudoephedrine? Cold medicine her doctor gave her to treat her cold! I believe Valieva was tested at least twice DURING the Olympics and this medication was not found in her system, so she was not receiving any benefit during her earlier performances at the games. If the Olympic Committee was okay with letting her compete prior to the Olympics starting then it should have been a non-issue now! Yes, I know the Russians are notorious for their doping (they're certainly not alone), but this is complete BS! I'm not even an ice skating fan, but when I watched Valieva skate during the team competition I was blown away. It was truly breathtaking. I think her unrecognizable performance last night was part stress-related and part direction from the powers that be to NOT achieve a podium spot. Either way it's just a terrible situation. I only hope that she hasn't been ruined by the experience. The girl had hardly reached her peak and I can only imagine how amazing she would become.

  3. The adults who coach her and provide her support failed her. Unfortunately she is in the forefront and has to shoulder all of this. The kid is 15 years old so I doubt very much she was made aware about what was going on. If they decide to ban or suspend someone it should be the coach and or support staff that were part of this not her. I would like her to sit back from this for a bit and get new coaching maybe even come to the US or any country and become a citizen and skate for them the RIGHT way!

  4. Russian citizens have no choice but to do what the communist party tells them to do. This girl had no choice but to obey her coaches and doctors. It is rather naive for someone to assume this 15 year old said to her handlers give me a cocktail of these three drugs whose names she can't even pronounce. The Russian objective to win at all costs even if it means hurting it's citizens has got to stop.

  5. Thomas Bach's remarks are the pinnacle of hypocrisy.

In this season, Kamila's doping test results were clean at four international competitions,

but only the test for the Russian national competition showed polluted result.

Therefore, this case required a thorough investigation and verification, but there was not enough time.

As CAS rejected IOC's indictment to ban Kamila's participation in individual competition,

the IOC should have announced that IOC would normally award medals for the results of the game,

but that medal and record could be deprived if Kamila did intentional doping.

The IOC's shocking announcement "If Kamila stands on podium, medal award ceremony would be canceled" must have acted as the biggest pressure on Kamila,

And this IOC's Threat made her step down from the podium by herself.

Furthermore this ultimately made it impossible to watch Kamila's performance in full of heavenly and mysterious beauty, which all figure fans around the world wanted to see.

The IOC should take the greatest responsibility

  6. I was rooting for her to medal so that she could make the Olympic committee look like an even bigger joke. Also, her doping results took 6 weeks to find out. 6 weeks! It should take a DAY. THAT should be investigated.

  7. criminals. if there is any sort of justice under the sky, those bloody fuckers who started bulling her will burn hell for what they have done towards the fragile young lady. it's obvious the case is not about a dope, the story is about being jealous of a gifted person. fiends. The key issue is what we – the society – should do to stop ugly games of politicians. we make heros out of winners ONLY. We make them so vulnerable. if u are not a winner or one step behind a winner, you are just a looser. WE – the society – made Trusova cry out. We don't value all athletes. We check their final standing. We worship winners and send others to a dustbin. We – the society – are severe sick. We are to be BLAMED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  8. Fell several times cuz she wasn’t taking that heart medicine 😂 😂

  9. Even if Kamila didn’t fall she wouldn’t have gotten a medal because she is already guilty of doping. Teens are not excluded from this rule.

  10. Sha'carri Richardson an African American athlete who is disqualified the last olympic game because of drug using claims that if Valieva's skin is black and she were amerian, she could be shot and killed by cops on the street.
Yeah it probably a double standards.

  11. To all Kamila's haters:
    1. Only traces of triametazidine were found and only in one test. All other are clean in all her performance's history. The one that positive showed a microdose. That is, it was an admixture to some kind of dietary supplement or food, and not regular use. Do you know that even amino acids mixes have traces of triametazidine?
    2. Triametazidine is useless for athletes and could be even harmful, doctors say. Western experts generally believe that trimetazidine has zero effectiveness, acting as a doping, and can also cause harm. Popular Science, having made a review of scientific papers, directly concluded that there is no evidence that trimetatisine can be doping.
    3. Heart expert Dr. Benjamin J. Levine, a professor of exercise science at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, said "The chance that trimetazidine would improve Valieva's performance, in my opinion, is zero".
    4. The very inclusion in the WADA doping list does not mean that WADA has any scientific evidence that a particular substance is doping and in any way can improve the performance of an athlete. WADA proceeds from the "suspicion" that the substance could potentially be doping.
