   EVICTIONS ARE so wrong. Give every American household $38,000, so they can pay their rent etc. How safe will we be with even more people on the streets, and it will cost you more.

2. I think if you have a rental right now you might want to extend that for another year or 2 because we're about to go into a recession if a number of things don't get fixed in the supply chain affecting everything else.

6. With these high rents how are people going to save enough to buy a home.? There is a very insidious aspect to this.

7. $2k a month for a house?! It's $3k for a one bedroom apartment on the west coast.

8. Renting is a complete waste of money. At the end of it, the resident gets nothing. There is no equity.

9. Actually $1800 to $2000 plus utilities for a home like that is common where I live in Ottawa, Canada.

Stop watching HGTV and get off instagram, it breeds consumerism and discontent. Buy something small that you can own and love what you have.

17. Absolutely not true in most counties. This is a few select areas. Rents are very affordable in about 90% of Counties in USA.

18. I’m 29. I sold my condo in Boston and moved in with my parents in the burbs. Main two reasons: best time to sell and my dad got sick. I’ve been really enjoying the peace and quiet access to trail and a few lakes. Granted I now live 35 from Boston but that’s not much. Might just buy a house out here when the market cools

19. When you have no evictions for over a year there is a shortage of rentals available which is why rents have gone up.
