Rip vin Scully you will be missed
R.I.P. legend
Simply, The voice of my childhood, Vinny will always be the shining Star in The City of Los Angeles!! I hurt, but grateful he was a part of my life!
….and remembering the voice of The Dodgers…Vin Scully knew Dodgers games when he appeared on two network, CBS Sports and NBC Sports. our thoughts are with the men and women of CBS Sports and NBC Sports as well as ESPN on this loss. Vin Scully was __ Years Old.
Last month I told my wife, mom I want to get Vin Scully t-shirt and this âš¾ï¸ÂÂ😥 R.I.P 💙 & respect ✊ï¸ÂÂ
From 1950 to 2016, Vin Scully will always be legendary voice of the Brooklyn/Los Angeles Dodgers. If not, the legendary voice of baseball. Legends never die. Legends live on in spirit. Therefore, Vin Scully's spirit lives on. R.I.P. Vin Scully.
Tissue stocks just went through the roof.
Icon, Legend, Dodger, Family Man, Friend. “It’s time for Dodger baseball. Hello everybody & a pleasant good evening to you.†R.I.P. VIN
I recall that when a was a boy I would be in my bed and place a transistor radio to next my ears so that I could listen to Vin Scully broadcast the Dodger games. So many times his soothing voice, his pleasing phrases, his always respectful humor and his natural kindness would wash over me like a warm wave, all while he was painting a picture of what was happening on the field and summarizing what was in the hearts of the his listeners.
He also had an uncanny ability to let the bottle breathe. He never talked over a big moment. For him, the sounds of the fans was enough to communicate everything that was happening on the field. In fact, some of his greatest moments were when he said nothing at all but just let the real event do all of the talking.
He had the ability to take baseball and cloak it with a feeling of specialness. It was as if you were sitting in front of a fire and listening to one of the village elders tell you about epic adventures of long ago. And although some battles were won and some battles were lost, Vin Scully made you feel that your heroes – whoever they were – would always rise up and be prepared to fight again, even if it was a doubleheader.
Thank you, Vin.

I wish todays sports broadcasters could be more like Vin Scully and not just make noise.
This man help create so many happy memories for so many people. We'll remember him fondly.

RIP Vin. A true legend he will be missed. I've been a dodger fan for 40 years I grew up listening to his iconic voice calling games. He will never be forgotten.
Vin the second best announcer in recent times but number one was the Cub fan and a Bud man-Harry Caray.
Grew up listening to Vin Scully and Chick Hearn. Irreplaceable.
Even if you were not a Dodgers fan you knew his iconic voice. Rest in peace Mr. Scully
I found this shocking, mostly because I thought he died 6 years ago. Dude was losing it his last years in the booth. Hung in too long as a broadcaster.
First we lost Bill Russell now we lost Vin Scully 😢 ðŸ™ÂÂðŸ™ÂÂ🙠for his family Rest in Heaven Vin Scully.
Wait, Vin Scully founded WFUV Radio in the Bronx? If the people there have any sense, they should call the building on the campus The Vin Scully Broadcast Center.
Despite the economic downturn,I'm so happy. I have been earning $ 60,000 returns from my $7,000 investment every 13 day's.
He was also a devout Roman catholic and was very proud of it. It was a HUGE part of his life why leave that out?
Great voice, great delivery. A rest well earned.
