I used to go running in my husband's grandmother's neighborhood and oftentimes I would see a house for sale or something under construction and would check the place out while on my run just because we were interested at one time in buying or building in that neighborhood. I was a dreamer in my late twenties. I am a white woman. I can't even imagine getting murdered for checking out a construction site. So awful. I have a twenty five year old son now who would probably do the same. Glad I'm not black. I feel so so horrible for this family and their beautiful son.
