13. To have your parent into your 70s is such a blessing. Loss is unbelievably difficult. Grief is overwhelming. The loss of a loved one is a loss of part of oneself.
    I lost my father to aml leukemia in March 2012. I miss him everyday. I was 36 when he passed.
    After 9 years I still have difficult days. Thoughts and memories will come to mind thinking of him. He is often on my mind and will always be in my heart. Those we have lost never leave our hearts. We carry them with us for the rest of our days.
    So sorry for the Queen, losing her husband of over 70 years. 70 years of marriage is amazing. I cannot fathom losing my husband, my partner. The thought of it brings a pain to my hear. The pain the queen must be feeling is indescribable. My heart goes out to her. Sending her thoughts of love and strength.
    So sorry for Charles, Anne, Andrew, and Edward at the loss of their father, their papa.
    Hearing Charles say “my dear papa was a very special person” was touching. To live a life of 99 years is an amazing life, military service, service to his country,4 children, countless grandchildren and great grandchildren. My heart goes out to all. Also the people of England on this day of mourning.
    It is such a beautiful day there in England today, the sky looks so clear and bright blue. Couldn’t ask for a more beautiful day to celebrate the life of England’s Prince Phillip.
