6. So stupid to get out of debt just to get back into it! That's the problem as a society, they don't tech us in school to save, to invest and prepare for an emergency or unexpected expense. People don't even prepare for retirement,. They really need to begin teaching this to kids in school, some parents lucky enough to learn this early on teach their kids but most don't cause they were never taught. I learned the hard way, I had lots of credit card debt, now I don't but I still use them to earn rewards and pay them off every payday not at the end of the month or by the grace period of 25th day. I also pay myself FIRST, I direct deposit $200 onto a different account I don't see or pay attention to every payday and I invest in my company's 401k and on top of that I opened an S&P500 Index Fund where I put in another $200 every payday there as well. I learned from my mistakes and I'm not going back.

11. The real question is what that lady does for a living. $17k in credit card debt in 1 year isn't impossible however you need a very decent salary to make it happen. $50k salary should be about right factoring in taxes, cost of living, and then the debt note.

15. I've got a few false marks, like double collections of the same thing in the same credit bureau. It's a nightmare getting them to fix anything, so fck em. They also aren't going to pay me for my time, for them to fix it. I'm about to start sending invoices to companies that I spend more than 15 minutes with customer service. Then send them to collections when they don't pay it. See how they like getting crap removed from their credit report. I’m currently an N.A waiting to get certified because of covid and stuff but I support myself and my grandma.
