Its being flooded and the guards are out numbered which is why processing takes so long, they're being rushed and have to think of the fastest housing possible for these immigrants, which is where the "cages" come in. 36. If they are turned away at the border then there’s no reason to take the child away. But if they have to be put in jail then some people argue you can’t put kids in jail. This might be the one kind of jail where I don’t agree with that. Why can’t the kids stay with a parent in jail for this reason only. But remember the old cartwheeling thing? If they could get their kid in here brought up with strangers or coyotes, Then when the kid gets older they can start bringing family members over. But if they refuse to pick up their child when the ACLU calls, then that should be abandonment. And as far as the other ones that they can’t even get on the phone, those people know exactly where their kids are they should get their ass over there and get them. I just don’t know how bad it is where they live now, but when my kids were little there is no way in hell that my plan would be to run willy-nilly through a desert and hope it all works out.
