9. So AJ was born with drugs in his system, trace amounts of heroin derivative was detected in the blood from his umbilical cord. He was literally suffering a withdrawal as a newborn. The grandmother, who already took in his older brother, warned the nurse they couldn't let his parents take him home. They didn't, and one of his mother's cousins became his foster mom. She actually wanted to adopt him, but then the court ordered for him to be returned to his parents, since the mother had apparently been sober for a while. But not the dad, at one point it was recommended that he shouldn't be in the house because he was taking Suboxone more than he's prescribed, to which the mom fought against.

   Once they stopped supervision, it went downhill.

   Also AJ has two younger siblings at this point. Both are healthy.

19. No amount of justice that the system gives is enough in this case. My biggest concern is, why in the hell was this poor baby returned to these incompetent, evil,don't give a damn, animals that never cared for this poor baby anyway? Sad

20. At least they decided after one of the kids was found in his grave that the other one needed to be taken out of the home. I guess that's what it takes sometimes. Why don't we spend all that money that is used to keep people in prison for life on better places for abused children to live, and put people with life sentences to death? We really need better options for kids though… because foster care can be really bad too, and honestly adoption isn't all that great. I know that 70% of American brides are already pregnant but… maybe there should be some kind of fine at least if that occurs, so that we can encourage people to get married before someone gets pregnant…. There should be a requirement that the bride has to have a pregnancy test before she can get married, and a prenatal DNA test if she is, and there should be fines if she is pregnant, and bigger fines if she's not pregnant with the child of the man she is marrying. And maybe parenting classes should be required as well.

23. Partly why i dont like people crying is because it feels fake and exaggerated and it always is. Crying is literally only for attention or manipulation. It has no other purpose. Its unnecessary after infancy.
