The police located the car in Mexico, went down there , met with the police who said you can't take the car back to the USA but you can carry out all the relevant checks on the vehicle you need to do ie, fingerprint, dna checks the whole CSI thing and they found deleon's dna on the cigarette lighter button. Prior to leaving the US to go down to Mexico to check out the car they arrested deleon on a money laundering charge while he was in the process of arranging to skip town and head south of the border as he knew that his arrest was imminent for his crimes. Deleon was held in custody while these further investigations were underway. The DNA in the car tied him to the theft of the Hawks' car. And Yeah where is Part 6???
