1. Open for who? Convenience of parents who don't think the virus is real? Rather than use all that we knew from January through August/September about this virus and create safe spaces for these kids, hundreds of thousands of lives are being placed at risk. Even areas who gave the option of virtual learning, they gave the students different teachers from other schools, nothing was really set up properly. And these silly districts opening and closing again is far more detrimental than quality online instruction would have been with provided ways to access the internet as well.
