11. The reason this Olympics was louder was because of the rising sun flag, a symbol of Japanese militarism and a 'war criminal flag'. In particular, a rock wall shaped like a rising sun flag was installed at the climbing arena.

17. Hong Kong and Japan had won both USA and China. By per capita medal. Hong Kong with only 42 competitors and 7.5 million had won 6 medals ranked no.30. USA is ranked no.50 and they had send 613 athletes more than any country than Japan 552 and China 423. By medal per capita India is last.
