A grandy jury voted not to charge officers shown on body camera video restraining Daniel Prude, a Black man, during an incident last March. Prude died while he was being restrained.

That murderer didn't want to get his knees wet, weirdo strange shameless arrogant people who decided they won't face charges
What do I tell my children? Why are you guys going against Americans we're all Americans we are all Americans stop beating each other up stop destroying people I promise you the universe will bless us all forever but if you don't stop going against the chosen people the universe is going to bring destruction in the future that's a promise I love everybody
Straight up murder
Fire the cops and guards and hire Eagle Scouts.
WTF seriously They choked him to death on tape.
Why would anyone be charged? He was high on PCP. As far as I’m concerned he did it to himself.
Dont worry folks. He was a junkie and the family is now looking for that free ride. Have to love lazy ass excuses driven loser's.
Grand jury system sucks. Jurors:
– not a representative sampling of the community
– not qualified for jury service, i.e. do not possess satisfactory ability to ask pertinent questions,
– not screened for bias
The grand jury originated under the law of England 100s of years ago. Today, only the United States and its client state Liberia, continue to screen criminal indictments.
Antiquated. Biased. Over-protective of police. Not necessary – as every other country in the world (except Liberia) demonstrate. MUST GO!
America is being overran by evil dope pushers, gangbangers and thugsters. ABC news not showing the whole story
He was trying to get a GO FUND ME ACCOUNT
Police corruption with in the police department designed protect their own regardless of the circumstances involved allowing them to get away with murder in full view of the American people!
did the autopsy find any evidence of shrinkage? outside naked in 20 degree weather?
ABC is a Walt Disney company, right?
Cops are nothing to blame for. The Grand Jury is right. Where was his family, where was the neighborhood? His family should have taken care of him sending to a mental hospital. Black people again, blaming cops and taking no accountability themselves for their situation. Great loving father of5 and then acting like this. He was a total embarrassment.
If your not about change for the better, DISPOSE of yourself. You fail both at being human as well as at being alive. Give your space to someone that will use rather than waste it. Your very existence has no worth.
Where is his family why didn't they try to help him
The police did not mistreat him in anyway. The man was running naked down the street in the middle of a snowstorm, so clearly they knew something was wrong. They handcuffed him per procedure. The man then said "I have covid", so they put a mesh breathable hood on him to prevent transmission. The man then died from a heart attack because of excited delirium. Excited delirium is a fairly common in drug overdose cases. As it turns out, Daniel Prude was high on a large amount of PCP. The police did not commit a crime in this case.
Daniel Prude was a menace to society; he was a criminal, a drug addict. His actions motivated the officer's actions…case closed!!!
Don't care about drug addicts.
Just wait and see, if they keep hurting colored people we won't do it how Martin Luther King Jr did it. We'll do it how the black Panthers and Malcom X did all with a fist raised.
Why were the cops called? BLM should've been called to de-escalate the situation.
Time for riots right the news has no news they want some cities to burn so they can tell u it’s some peaceful protest right even arson on federal buildings that the governor and senator allows and pay the bail to get them out of jail so the DA must be in on it also that makes them all guilty of arson they all played a roll in it
Drugs didn't do it, no no no. It's everyone else's fault. 🙄
Zechariah 11:5 Whose possessors slay them, and hold themselves not guilty (Zec 11:5 KJV)
when are people going to learn? don't call the cops for anything.

Eric garner died under Obama, yet people are still blaming trump?
When you step on a roach, do you feel empathy or remorse?
The answer is a simple "no", but that's only if you think of yourself as a higher being.
The same apply when it comes to our police officers, they are viewed and revered as greater beings. Then when you include the factor of race, that's what one calls a multiplier. So black people have been view as lesser class in this country from the moment they were captured and brought here (based on their stories) .
The ignorant will say, "but thats the past." But if it was, then based on your own records it says otherwise.
But let's make this as simple as can be, a law or policy doesn't change people. It merely says if there's a breach of that policy then there will be consequences for that breach. But if the consequences are nothing or bearable, then one will always breach said policy.
Now if you educate people and have them come to a personal connection and understanding of what was and why it was. Then most would grow from that experience.
This can be deduced from the comments that are left on here, especially by white Americans. There's no level of understanding, to them all they see is a roach.
Now us black people need to understand that, civil rights legislations never changed anyone. It just said if you do something in the eyes of that law then there will be some consequence. However the people were never taught anything. Look at black history month, something I viewed as a great idea that was poorly executed and now it's like some ceremonial afterthought. I would have thought, it would be a month that shows us all, what can happen if you dehumanize another for personal gain. Something we could all watch and relive for a month of every year. Something that would make us uncomfortable, uneasy and unsettling. That we are capable of inflicting extreme pain and hardship without having an ounce of care….
Because if history isn't learnt nor understood then it will infact repeat itself. It has been repeating itself this entire time, just not the way it did before "slavery".
When are you going to update this news segment!?
I just watched the release of the police officers body cam footage. This clown was high as balls and spiting, and saying things that would get me banned of this sight …. You people are disgusting. And on the cop kneeled on him. He kneeled on his lower back. No ware near his head. These guys were to nice in my opinion. Fake news.
It's kind of a no-win situation for the cops. If they do nothing, and the suspect dies of overdose, then cops get blamed for inaction. The activists will say that he needed medical intervention, not cops. But then if he's spitting and biting, the doctors/EMTs will say the patient must be restrained before they can treat him, which forces the cops to intervene. And if the patient dies when the cops try to restrain him, the cops get blamed.
Apparently, Daniel Prude's brother was the one who called the Police on Daniel.
Smart move… a Black naked man, at night, out on the streets….
What the hell could POSSIBLY happen??
Daniel Prude's BROTHER was the catalyst for Daniel's death.
RIP
“Involved in the death of Daniel Prude†Cops showed up and he died of a drug overdose. He was puking and spitting which is a bodily reaction to being poisoned. Glad the cops didn’t get charged because they had no part in it. They have to arrest people who are breaking store fronts and if they’re being spit on they put a hood on you. They shouldn’t be arresting cops just because they happened to be holding down a guy who’s fighting them and he does of a drug overdose. They even administered cpr and tried to save this guys life. I fundamentally do not understand why this is worth protesting over. Protest for the arrest of the PCP dealer who killed that man.
What did the police do wrong with Daniel Prude? How would it have been best for the police to have interacted with Daniel?
tell the truth, he was on drugs…pcp……naked in the snow…how is this racist or police abuse…
He had a criminal record. According to the Chicago police Prude had been behind bars several times over the decades. Chicago Police reported 37 arrests and nine convictions since 1995, eight for drug- and alcohol-related charges and one for burglary. I'm only suggesting that he isn't as innocent has some of these protesters are making him out to be. Now fast forward to the present regarding this incident. His brother called because he was having a mental breakdown. Not only that he was naked, bleeding, high as a kite, outside in the snow, needed a spit mask because apparently he had covid-19 while spitting at the cops and yelling I have coronavirus. Then he dies 7 days later NOT specifically from being restrained prior to the arrest, yet we aren’t gonna blame the fact he had covid-19 in his system potentially putting people at danger from the spitting or the trace amounts of PCP in his system at all? Every bit of info is important when reporting a story because there are a ton of factors that can determine a cause of death or at least a partial explanation, it's not always clear cut. It's hilariously obvious how the media didn't even attempt to mention this information right when this happened. What's even more hilarious is that even if this was unjustified, people actually think racism was the cause of his unfortunate death. Bruh. Now potential riots might stir up………….again.
If you read up on this investigation a while ago, the DA was deliberately trying to make this a racial issue right off the bat. And you wonder why people are straying father away from mainstream media these days.
