18. As someone whose father played in the NFL and had CTE this makes me irate. The later life complications that come from playing in the NFL are more than most people realize. I can definitely identify with the families of these players that are still going through all of this. It's TOUGH to see someone you love dealing with these mental issues. These men really do change as a result and it's painful for everyone and not just physically. I hope the next generation of players don't suffer the same fate as my dad.
