29. As an NFL fan and I play football personally I hate this

30. When choosing a name for a sports team we choose one that equals strength, fortitude and, honor to be represented.

    I would think that most of us Indians would be honored in this choice. Who cares that it’s a color of skin. Screaming racist is getting old. We are all going to lose. What a circus this has become.

31. This logo means no harm. Navajo people should be proud of it. In my opinion, the logo represents the face of the true land owners. The logo represents the true people. As long as this logo itself is not used in any way, shape, type, or form, to breath death upon any human, it should stand. The people of Navajo should understand. The people of the public disagree with the logo and lack the knowledge and wisdom to understand what that logo represents. Is it money? No share for showing the face of the true land owners? Let's change too McDonald's, Wendy's, Burger King, etc.. Aunt Jemima.. what's going on? Change human history for the good. Change the name to "Navajo Indians" and keep the logo. I love, cherish, and respect all American Indians. My step grandfather is American Indian. By his father who is full blooded American Indian. I remember he took me several times with my sisters to his tribes dancing session. I had to sit on the side some because my sister's father is his son. My stepdad. If the logo goes, it goes. Would be sad though. Sad the Navajo people don't see it like that. I pay no mind how the public sees it. It's the owners personal view and right to install, or uninstall any part of his business. But only in good faith if there's a problem were the establishment is using a logo and name for bad purposes. Which in this case, it's not.💪🏼🙏🏼✌🏼

33. For everyone that does not understand why Washington team name is wrong because they do not know or pretend not to know American history here is a quick refresher.
    The name Washington red skins and the Indian head logo came from a time when the Federal government paid bounties for scalps with red skin and black hair and or severed heads with red skin and black hair indicating the race as Native American. The bounty for killing Natives paid by the Federal government was 5 cents for an Adult and 2 cents for a child and this is the real reasin the U.S. Treasury minted Indian Head nickels and pennies. The Washington Red skin name and Indian head logo where used to indicate the location of federal bounty pay stations to present proof of murdered Native Americans. The Indian Head logo was used because a high percentage of the people murdering Native Americans for Federal bounty money could not read. The reason that Native Scalps/Red skins and severed Heads where accepted was so the settler militias could kill entire villages and not have to transport all the bodies to the nearest federal bounty payment center to collect 5 or 2 cents for every Native American they killed. Native American Children where sold into slavery/indentured servitude well into the 1960's because the militias figured out it was more profitable than killing the small children and collecting the 2 Indian head penny bounty in the 1850's.
