2. People need to understand that it only has to be 5 to 15 percent natural gas for an explosion. 100 percent and they'll be no boom until gas levels drop. Every gas, water, and elec meter has a test dial. Its the dial that spins real fast when its being used. If u watch it when no use it mite move very little. I mean if it were a clock only move 1 number like 2 o'clock to 3 o'clock position and thats after 5 min. This is why they know it was inside and a small leak there is no flame

20. Looks like it was a gas explosion. With a huge house like that it could be from anywhere. I had a gas leak in my garage turns out the dryer was leaking. Even the gas company didn’t know there was a problem but I smelt it and got a new dryer.

45. This happened yesterday mid-afternoon in Ballentyne a suburb of Charlotte in the very southern most part of the city. The neighborhood is right on the NC/SC state line,and I felt it more than 30 miles to the South in Lancaster,SC. I pray for the family who lost their home, and also for the person who lost their life due to the explosion! This is a very exclusive neighborhood as well!
