  1. Wait, a philosophical approach to life that drives you away from shallow, hedonism and makes you focus on what you value is NOT mental illness. Not fitting in to a circus of fools in a sorority does not devalue you. If you are on the edge of the page the bell curve is printed on it means you see and smell more than the butt of the fool piled on you. Be unique and be gentle with yourself.

  2. I have my own life size Melissa & Doug Tiger! 🐯🐅🧡🖤

  3. This is great to hear! I can’t wait to read. My bio mother was a child Molester, and growing up I had severe anxiety and depression. I still struggle so this makes me feel not alone. I love that Melissa is telling her story. Thank you so much Melissa!!

  5. So courageous…thank you for sharing! It goes to show that mental illness like depression can afflict anyone…even if they “have it all!”

  6. Looking forward to reading this book… we've been Melissa and Doug fans for many years, in fact, I use one of the "boxes" my daughters toy came in as a spice holder in my cabinet and see their names every time I open it! Will whisper a pray of peace for her each time I see it from now on. Such a lovely woman….

  7. Childhood trauma is so often at the root of mental darkness, but, perhaps equally as often, the realities of the deeply flawed nature of life here are enough to challenge any of us. I’m so grateful that she’s sharing, and even more grateful to know that God Creator loves us deeply and walks with us…and will restore all things according to plan. xo
