  1. Stay out of bear country starting the second week of august to reduce your risk. The closer to winter months you hike the more your at risk becoming a meal as they don’t have the food source they once had and become agitated and desperate to put on that body fat to survive the winter. This is why most attacks but not all occur during particular months over the others

  2. There are things they are not telling you people. The bear population is growing by 7% a year. Grizzlies are still in the protected species list and there for the problem is going to get worse. One needs to consider that much of the forests out in the northwest has burnt so guess what? Competition for resources. Those bears are moving to find food. Grizzly have been known to deliberately hunt man.

  3. FBI is looking for the white obese lady of TOURIST TRUMP SUPPORTER to go to prison and hefty fines and give 5 years of probation to clean these litters off the roads.

  4. I wouldn’t even want that woman driving a car I’m in with reflexes that slow‼️🙄

  5. Time to open season & thin down the overpopulation. Time to kill off 50% of these monsters. Who doesn't need a nice bearskin rug ?

  6. There needs to be more bear attacks. People are losing their fear of the bears and are encroaching to close to the bears instead of respecting them and their space.

  7. I'm from Alaska and the best bear spray I've found is a .375 H&H Magnum firing a 350 grain bullet @2,470 feet per second, in fact the .375 ammunition loaded with the 300 gr (19 g) or heavier bullet on the .375 H&H is adequate for heavy thick-skinned dangerous game such as elephant and rhinoceros in most conditions, or large bears.

  8. Unfortunately, this video cuts the safety issues way too short. Also, one of the main issues- wilderness is shrinking as people develop more land for vacation homes and other real estate development. Bears try to avoid contact with humans, but with a shrinking wilderness range, it becomes increasingly difficult.

  9. Or carry a shotgun to kill a charging bear. Me personally, I'd stay out of their habitat all together. But if you invade their space, keep a Mossberg pump with you.

  10. People lack RESPECT and that's usually why they are attacked.

They crowd around the animals instead of giving them space and some even taunt.

That woman should never have been that close to those bears. She is lucky he didn't swipe down.

  11. Respect them it’s their home 🐻🌲 Don’t threaten their home by wanting a closer peek. If u do that u deserve what’s coming to you 🙄
