  1. So proud of all these women stepping up and crushing the barriers, I am a Caucasian woman but I am almost in tears looking at this. Not only because Of the bravery and power of these women but that there are barriers to break through.

  2. Wish she went in deeper about actual economic struggles of black women beyond the superficial stuff eg talk about debt, post natal death etc

But happy for her nonetheless that she's using her platform for something positive.

  3. Beautiful intelligent with high confidence 🙏🏾💯💕📚

  6. An interesting question? Is it only about color or is it about features. I think what the industry also looks for is European features even though she is a women of color. Do those features make it a little more acceptable when the industry is faced with more Afrocentric features? Let me hear your opinions on this subject matter, be constructive in your thought.

  7. Lucky girl.. It always seems as though good things come to those who don't chase it.. She was scouted twice despite ignoring the first opportunity. Meanwhile I'm here chasing every opportunity and not getting anywhere 🙁

Best of luck in your success Leomie! Pretty girl

  8. Bless her.She speaks truth.i despise the fashion industry, yet also applaud women speaking their truth.
She and other models need to raise the level of discourse.we need to speak of how we objectify women, even today,as nothing more than arm candy and window dressing.
We are whole human beings just like men.
We've the right to wear OUR hair any damned way we wish.
    Natural is beautiful.
    Shine from within.
    The superficial quickly passes.
