  1. it was the large difference between the two weapons that convicted her. A mistake like this was unacceptable. because the weapons were so different and she was such an experienced and highly trained cop. Taking this 20 year old criminal out of society and off the road was a large benefit to all of us and she should be commended for that. This dude was headed for prison sooner or later anyway.

  2. Do you’re homework on his thug, he was a criminal in the making, unfortunately an officer is going to jail for doing her job.

  3. Is this about black or is it a right or wrong she was just guilty wether he was black or any other race are the jurors afraid there going to cause Carnegie I there communities riots and destruction guilty is just
That wrong is wrong for all races ?????

  4. The message should be "white officers should not murder white people ". Apology was to make jury feel sorry for her. White officers have been taking black lives away for centuries.

  5. Justice! Accountability. Law enforcement cannot mistake non-lethal weapons for deadly ones. Some will justify her grave error, by reasoning the victim threaten the officer’s lives. This is not a justification, as she had evaluated the threat and chose non-lethal response. Law enforcement officials cannot justify “my bad” on the job. A taser is very different from a gun. A gun should be known to them better than anything else in their arsenal. If she had chosen the gun in the first place, we could be arguing just or excessive force, likely siding with just. She is rightfully found guilty of negligence, grave error, unforgiving action, and reckless behavior. Tasers should be banned from law enforcement, if anyone believes she was justified.

  6. Highway Patrol would have used deadly force to stop the threat when his car took off.I hope Kim appeals. She killed an animal who should have never been released out of jail.

  7. I have walked both sides of this path. An immature, fatherless, kid making mistakes with undeveloped judgement under EXTREME pressure of urban poverty and violence. I was fortunate to avoid disaster daily. As an adult, in that same difficult reality, I started a career in law enforcement. In a few short years I had been shot at several times, nearly killed, and lost a partner, shot during a robbery. He was 22 and would never know he was to be a father. Fueled by that traumatic history it would be so easy to make one human mistake, one moment of fear, nerves, that cannot be undone. I am not afforded to judge such flaws of human nature, being so fortunate with my own. No blame, only empathy for these poor souls.
