Companies will simply pass on the additional cost to the consumer–and due to economies of scale, big corporations will benefit the most, rather than small/minority ones as intended. Also, this will create the need for more government oversight to ensure compliance, wasting taxpayer money. Why doesn't Biden CREATE a business friendly environment to INCENTIVIZE companies to manufacture in the US, instead of just forcing them?

42. america tries to cure its illness with irrational measures, running from one extreme to another extreme. 1/. imo, it is unconstitutional, the e-order deprives its peoples rights to choose. 2/. in the democratic world, trade is free and bi-literal, ok, america is now out of WTO, it can do whatever it wants to without strings, it closes its own door, so will the rest of world need America?. Let the rest of world to return it "don't buy america", fair enough! 3/. america knows its own problems, problems originated from p.r.c., but it bundles all other countries into the same grave. 4/. Let's talke a bit about the american Style of Capitalist which is no foreign to me, from text books to real world, the hostile leverage buy-outs, the acuate way to maximze profit, the tricks of manuilplating balance sheets to look good with beautiful roi, etc. but I didn't buy the ways these corporations practiced for decades and still apply today. 5/. examples, Looking back about 30 years ago, when the then american company buyers came to us and say something like " if you don't have factory in china, or if you have no plan to run factory in china, we don't and we cannot buy from you". These buyers were in their 25-55 and most of them should be still around to witness the ups and downs of america. They floked to Asia with final destination of china, and a lot of them made business trips into fund-seeking tours, kept asking for invitations. With shopping lists on hand, these guys seated like kings and did have a lot of joy of various contents, you know what I mean. This was how america fed china, sold to china, and lost to china, and how america turned corrupted today.
