Get your new 64 square foot tiny home for a mere $138,000!!!
The homeless problem has been around for awhile..however it was confined to skid row in La..and most of downtown la the late 1990's money began to pour into redevelopment of the many historic buildings with zoning changes..thus pushing out the homeless into the surrounding cities..then came Gov brown's realignment bei ng forced by the feds to empty the jails due to over crowding. Thousands of non violent offenders (yeah right) were released into the streets with no where to go and some laws were passed to keep the jails from getting overcrowed again mostly how certain crimes were defined mostly low level drug and property crimes along with theft. People who committed these crimes were no longer charged with felonies requiring automatic jail sentences of longer duration. Then covid came along and jails released more prisoners and the courts shut down altogether so as u can imagine alot of petty criminals homeless looking to feed their drug habits and not to mention the mentally ill .. what a mess..
People shouldn't be shocked by the mess on the streets, but how many people don't have a place to live in their own country.
There is a vacant military base in CA named Alameda Naval Air Station in Alameda, CA – The politicians can use this vacant compound to assist the homeless with temporary housing , mental illness, drug addiction, jog training assistance. Time to provide solutions.
its the whole Rome, Caesar & the latifundium all over again,
HOMELESSNESS AND DEATH…WHERE ARE THE RICH AND FAMOUS? HOLLYWOOD IS ONE OF THE COLDEST AND HEARTLESS PLACE IN THIS COUNTRY…🤬💀☠👽👽🙊🙉💣💣💣💣
make room LA, homeless person from oregon coming to live in your streets soon ðŸ‘ÂÂðŸÂ¾
"Politicians have turned their backs on us"…Whats new Mr Magoo??
Bottom line: Homelessness is a choice. Its a tough pill to swallow but its true. Also to note, If throwing money at homelessness was the solution we would have solved it a long time ago.
Doesn't look like in Movies Hollywood 😅😅🙄
Send them to Detroit,,
Venice Beach is full of decay and grime. Even the poor palm trees are covered by graffiti. 😢
The sand looks dirty.. Trash everywhere with the beach boardwalk reeking the smell of urine.
Nothing like it was just 10 years ago. It was a happy place where you could feel safe.
The biggest problem is…. calling it a homeless problem. It's an ADDICT problem.

What astounds me is that while america has such gigantic, horrific problems, instead of putting all their efforts at improving life for their citizens, they keep pointing fingers at foreign nations and trying to "fix" them.
Umm, it is going to get worse.
Nothing like this in Moscow
Maybe to people are needed to end this crisis not corrupt politics https://youtu.be/n6h7fL22WCE
People don't want to work for nothing anymore I am the father son and the father of all things and I said some one step forward and give the world free clean energy is one of the first steps to fixing the world I love you brother's and sister's we are better together
build them homes like FDR
The sprawling entitlement programs of liberal America contribute heavily to the price of living getting jacked up for everyone. Especially since as our social trust deteriorates, people become more cynical and selfish and contribute less, thus increasing the pool of people dependent on tax payer support. And as more immigrants flood in everyday and game the system, the cost of living gets higher for the founding stock of this country a.k.a the real Americans, as they sacrifice their own families' retirements and safety nets to keep all the mouth breathers on life support
138,000 per shed. Govt waste at its best.
Don't worry CA, the homless will be removed prior to the 2028 summer Olympics.
Shamefull. A wealthy first world country treating their disadvantaged citizens like this speaks absolute volumes. Yes the Government should absolutely step in to the people commenting otherwise. Also make the system fair. Fairer system, more opportunities, less crime , less mental illness.
This city mayor is such a liar. His program is a failure
The majority of homeless is suffering from drug addiction and mental illness.
People will bring their trash
Wont be visiting LA what a shithole
Ever been to China any of you? No homeless there, just fantastic modern cities and the worlds biggest high-speed rail network. Have a look at Chengdu Plus YouTube if you don’t believe and check out things like their new state of the art airport, and then realise how much you’re being lied to by Fox News.
Idiots of the self righteous finally stepping in their own 💩figuratively and literally . That’s 128,000 dollars per unit……
Sad
Richest country in the world?
I lived in LA in the '70s
Never saw a tent no not one
In 2 weeks I will be homeless should I go to Los Angeles
$4 million went to them and $1 million went to the tiny houses
Dontcha think that the problem here might not be a lack of compassion and willingness to accommodate the homeless, and more to do with a breakdown in the expectations that Americans to have for each other. At one time Americans were expected to care for themselves, care for their family, respect the lives and property of others, and to train themselves for the needs and demands of a thriving economy. Today our progressive elites want us to be docile and compliant, and focus upon preserving nature and the environment by becoming more disconnected from it. We have no responsibility to care for ourselves, we just need to fall in line and they will take care of us. America’s cities in 2022 reveal the depth of that lie. They’ve become unlivable, yo the point that most Americans with the wherewithal have either left or have a strategy for getting out.
Shoot, they’ve been doing that in Kensington, Philadelphia for dozens of years. This is clean compared to Kensington.
Very beautiful there. Some are filthy rich , living in a bubble , and the real world starving, living like this. Very nice place to live. American dream.
Well the Marxist socialist totalitarian lefty piece of crap finally clean up LA because there’s gonna be a Super Bowl. This is just another thing like they’re hiding Mexicans flying in planes all over in the middle of the night only this time they’re cleaning up because everyone’s gonna be embarrassed of their sh xx hole city.So they pretend everything’s OK and do a quick cleanup I am so sick and tired of Biden and the Democrats lying pretending the hypocrisy the lies
But that's where millionaire live
Hey I see India there Bangladesh there
will be more this is just start
5.4 million? Obviously most of that is a bribe of some sort with the bid. Disgusting
Get the military to put them in FEMA camps
39 Homes for 5.4 Mill? Each home was built for 138,000 then. You can build 3 ranchers with that house that can hold 6 very comfortably. They probably got the cheapest lot to build it to. California is just a bunch of people who pretend to know everything without making anyone upset.
if the wealthy would stop trying to buy all of California the poor could move back in. the poor are closer to the homeless the wealthy only care about their home values not about people if the wealthy will move(go to idaho i heard they are looking for like minded rich folk) alot of the homeless could afford homes then its the only way to save california the wealthy folks plans wont work
