In-depth Look at America’s Childcare Crisis | NBC Nightly News
Childcare cannot just be turned over to the government. Ultimately parents need to take responsibility. Government needs to support and encourage good parenting.
15 is not enough to survive in southern California . you need to be making at least 20 or more that's the minimum. Property taxes at going up next year and rents are already going up this year. Food is priced higher than the staircase to heaven .
Life is about choices.
15.00hr is not enough for teachers working in child care
An in-depth look = 2 minutes
Hey guys. Try working different days off or different shifts. That’s what I did. No need for childcare.
We certainly have a child care crises. The mother has rejected her role. The poor child has an absent father and a silly, foolish mother.
How can anyone in America expect for the working class to move forward and get ahead if they cannot obtain a living wage and good safe affordable child care as well as health care insurance? Even with these benefits made affordable and available many of them will still be in a rental situation and not be able to to afford to buy their own home. But at least they will have a roof over their family's head that they are paying for without government assistance. That gives them a feeling of pride and success. This is a hand up, not a hand out, and that's what the American people want and need. Also the unions are stepping in to do their part, so please support them and do not hold them back. It could be a huge mistake. They already have plans in place for training the American workers. Those of us in unions know what is to be given a hand up through training and support from our fellow workers. The simple fact is the AMERICAN UNION WORKING CLASS BUILT THIS COUNTRY and we can repair it too. (#BuildBackBetter) We always have, and always will, support the working class because we ARE the working class. Support the unions…all of them!! (I am a proud member of IBB Local 549.)
Democrats answer is slaughter more innocent babies by abortions, such hypocrites and very sick people.

In depth.
K….
Four decades ago a big family could live out of one salary & had free to low childcare; now with less kids to watch the others is impossible.
I love education for children
People should really think a million times before having a kid

SAVE MULENGE
People should really think a million times before having a kid. This world is kinda getting worse for a child to live in.
It is called Planed Parenthood…this is killing America….
Since May 2018 I've paid $30,000 in child care. My daughter is done July 2022. I'm happy if someone only has to pay $10,000 plus $2000 in taxes. That way they can buy a house or better vehicle.
Covid cases will probably shut them down, even if they open up. Our school just opened up 3 weeks ago, and we already have 6 classrooms shut down and quarantining. Ugh!
You think child care is expensive now?????? Wait until they up minimum wage to $15 an hour.
This is great and long overdue.
