It seems like there is systemic corruption in government practice and policy, such as being able to essentially purchase an ambassadorship, or having the VP's son on the board of directors of an allegedly corrupt natural gas company in Ukraine, while the US investigates that country's chief prosecutor.. Supreme court judges seem to be political appointments? The presidency is immune from conflict of interest liability? And the impeachment process itself, it devolves into bipartisan grandstanding, whereas it should be a highly protected nonbiased legal process, shouldn't it?

Are we to trust the same people who made the decision to go ahead and hire him…and now trust the same people are making another good decision in firing? Who should be the replacement? Because I remember the last two choices we were given were Clinton or Trump. So we are to trust the same body of people who made the mistake in the first place to recommend two unqualified candidates..to recommend who now? Round and round we go…maybe look at the vetting process with more scrutiny before signing off saying yes this person is qualified for the job.
