12. I am a retired nurse five of my twenty years were spent on an oncology unit .
    I will never forget what an Oncologist said to me after a particularly insidious surgery.
    He said to me “ cancer is as unpredictable as the provincial wind” ahhh yes it is .
    All of the emotions that Alex Trebek is describing are typical for a terminal cancer patient but it is also about hope.
    I deep,y admire him and others who spoke on this channel today I’ve been retired for 40 years and I still remember many of my terminal cancer patients names.

    I know this is serious and not meant to be funny, but when this woman was like "Today it's Alex Trebek, tomorrow it might be someone you love." I couldn't help but giggle.

37. We don't know how long James' winning streak is because all the episodes of the show are prerecorded, taped like 3 months in advance. Alex says they've finished taping season 35 but of course could not reveal if James was still champion then but if James was still champion when they finished taping season 35, then that would give Alex another reason to want to come back for season 36.
