The Boeing 737 Max was approved to fly again after the company modified its flawed flight control system, which pilots initially knew nothing about and had caused some aircraft to nosedive.

  1. It still make my blood boil that no executives of Boeing went to jail for causing such tragedy, leaving so many people grieving.

  2. Boeing isn’t being held responsible at all yet again. When the 747 had faulty doors it took two parents who lost their son thousands of dollars to figure out what happened, only come to find out the FAA and Boeing already knew the issue and cause, but covered it up. Boeing knew about this issue before the Max’s left for sale. Test pilots reported issues and engineers mentioned issues with the sensor issues, yet Boeing brushed it off and didn’t even include the feature in the manual for Pilots to be aware of. I don’t trust Boeing built planes, I don’t care how many are in the sky. Nothing is perfect especially when it is a large industry standard, but the refusal to fix mistakes and go out of the way to cover them up is unforgivable.

  3. U.S.: let’s use this Boeing 737 Max for our people
Ethiopia, Indonesia: i would’t be so sure if I were you

  4. I am European. Never ever will I fly with any planes from Boeing since American companies don't care for people. When Boeing engineers are so risky to put the 737 engines further in front to change the gravity center because Airbus has better planes and Boeing is not capable to deliver functional software to balance that out, it reminded me of the history in nuclear bombs test when America took people as guinea pigs, gave them sunglasses and invited them to see the blast knowing it will cause damage till today! America does not care for people!! You see that in every action they do! No to that 737 Max! The software can fail – for example, look at Microsoft updates! I am an engineer and a good one!

  5. I want to know who is the one mocking and calling ppl stupid when they asking a simulator. Dude its about ppl live, preparation is very important.

I'll never believing boing on my flight. They just thinking a business, and very cocky about ppl live

  6. Everything started from the competition with airbus. Airbus stands much higher from the ground, and the engines have adequate height from ground. But boing 737 max was closer to the ground, to fix the problem they moved the engines up. But the top of the engine was a little above the wings which caused the nose of the airplane to get steeper during take off. To solve the problem the installed the MCAS sensor which would cause the nose to dive. Crazy how the tried to solve a problem with adding an additional problem. Money talks…

  7. I will never fly on 737 Max in my life, even if they fix the MCAS software, the engine is just too heavy for the plane, because they try to cut corner of using the same old 737 airplane frame, it’s just mind boggling, they could have make a whole new airplane instead of cutting corner of just putting new engine and an MCAS, shame on them, I rather fly airbus now, i don’t care if it’s not a US Company, Safety Come first to me.

  8. 1:19, lion air not from thailand ok
    Lion air its from indonesia
PT.LION MENTARI INDONESIA AIRLINES,FRST OPERATION IN 1999,29 OCK 2018 FLIGHT JT610 KARAWANG JAVA SEA ,CAPT BHAVYE SUNEJA FROM INDIA AND FO.HARVINO FROM INDONESIA

  9. What a crap production. Didn't explain ANYTHING about how the MAX has returned to the skies, and used an A340 picture at the end!! You're a joke ABC News – that is absolutely laughable and has no connection to the title.
