   How many hurricanes were there in 1900? No one knows because there wasn't satellites back then but a cat 5 hurricane in 1900 swamped Galveston island and killed 8,000 people. Let me throw some other facts at you. Ever heard of "The Great Storm of 1938"? Superstorm Sandy wasn't the first hurricane to hit New England. Did you know that there was a hurricane in February 1493 that kept Columbus in the Caribbean? Wait a minute, hurricane season is only supposed to be June to November, right? Surprise!! All these hurricanes happened BEFORE global warming. Ginger and ABC thinks people are dumb. Arm yourself with facts people. This is the age of Aquarius-the age of knowledge.
