  1. Great to hear that "Karen" lost her job. (Actually, I prefer "Becky", but never mind). There needs to be a concerted efforts to get all Karens (or the male equivalent) named, shamed and fired!

  2. Everyone seems to be happy the clerk got fired but no mention of consequences for the police officers that continued to entertain foolishness. Once the lady showed she had a key and was a guest of this hotel which means she has every right to be there on the property and she had not broken the law that should have been the extent of the interest the law enforcement has in that matter and they should have been GONE! Off to fight real crime

  3. If she felt the need to make sure she was a guest That conversation should have been hello just checking to make sure you have a room at the hotel. After the guest confirms she did then a thank you for your time and I hope you and your family enjoys your stay. That's it!

  4. Did you follow with the police’s thorough investigation ?
    Did the staffer get charged ? Tried ?
    Did she have a red flag on her resume ?
    Or is she on another branch of Hilton or other hotel profiling other minorities ?

    TVs get good rating for covering the events but are often lazy in chasing it to the end.

  5. Happened to me at a DC hotel but in the cafe. As soon as I walked in they asked if I was a guest at the hotel and I simply said yes. it was buffet style and you paid on your way out. After I sat down to eat I noticed they didn't stop any of the white families to ask if they were guests and I'm talking about more than 5 families/individuals. Then I realized a hotel employee literally was hovering around my table with my bill in her hand I assume so I won't dine and dash lol It's really a shame how this country sees people of color.

  6. Hotels that hire white people even though they are not a hotel manager they need training on how to treat African-American guests at your hotels and not treat them meanly.

  7. We need to be smarter at this. When they ask for your name, you ask for their names. They act cocky and arent afraid because they are hiding behind their masks. Saying a hotel employee and cops does no justice. Need to get their names and expose their racist identity on the internet. Otherwise it becomes just a sweep under the rug 'an employee dismissed' 'doing investigation' bullshit.

  8. The police 👮‍♂️ should get into trouble 👿 as well they had no Reason to BELIEVE THAT SHE BROKE THE LAW
