Hospital Staff Receive Panic Button Badges After Rise In Violent Patients

1. As a lunatic myself when I have assaulted nurses and staff they are usually not fast enough or strong enough to help themselves or let alone push a button. This is not going to save lives. People who are typically violent are not going to show you the signs or give you time to press a button. We just attack.

2. Hospitals in the U.S. are literally murdering patients on purpose, so it makes sense that some of them would fight back.

3. This is not new. Nursing has been number one in workplace violence for years.

4. Makes sense if you defund the police. The gang bangers will always come in now to finish up the job.

5. I hate that this is needed but there really need to be more of these. A nurse got her jaw broken at out local hospital after someone "became aggressive"

8. That is what happens when a population realizes that being the test rats many times leads to death and staff NOT trying to save lives but following GUIDELINES AND DEATH PANELS. Sad BUT TRUE!!

10. Its just this hospital so I would say you all are verbally or physically abusive to the patients.

11. State that hospitals do not have enough staff and they are from second rate colleges! Many can't speak English fluently and are rude. AMERICAN HEALTHCARE IS SUBHUMAN!

12. Teachers need that also, but staff would not come. My mother was left on the bed pan for over 40 minutes. Three physical therapists found her. This happened several times but for about 20 minutes. The nurse was fired. AC also leaked on her bed.

25. Medical workers getting physically abused or assaulted is no different than any other worker dealing with the moron public. Flight attendants. Walmart employees. Walgreens staff. Uber drivers.

26. The minute ANYONE crosses the line they should be removed from the premises immediately and be trespassed. Their medical needs are void at that point, you are done. It's terrible that they have to carry panic buttons, but I'm glad that they have them.
