This comment “if you don’t like it here why are you here, go back to where you are from” etc, is soooo common in the US and so irrational. An immigrant pointing out problems so that we can find solutions has nothing to do with disliking this country. You may love someone and still see things that are wrong with that person and point them out to help them. So much ignorance as lack of conscience in our country.

41. Well, not Saline's finest hour. I'm still trying to figure out Costanza's point. Is bad behavior directed towards minority kids okay if the kid's dad is an immigrant? Then later he makes the point about walking through neighborhood, but even that falls through completely since obviously it depends on the individual neighborhood, and also, how would that justify minority kids in Saline being mistreated? I was glad that most of the people in the room reacted as they did, but its sad to see someone who is clearly attempting to think and failing so miserably, and that he seems completely oblivious and unconcerned about the unjustifiable bullying being inflicted on kids.
