   I was there and it was so hot we left 30 mins before he started shooting I never thought I would say this but I'm happy it was hot that day otherwise me or my family could have been shot but I hope everyone is ok

    I still remember my parents and I thinking about going to the festival that day. But we didn't go because we were going to do other stuff that day. I live 15 minutes from Gilroy. Thank god I didn't go

    I hated that remember it like it was yesterday I was there at the garlic festival an hour earlier I had had a stomachache so we went home and I will never forget the look on my brothers face when he opened my door and said what had happened

    I was at the Gilroy Garlic Festival on Saturday, on Sunday there was the shooting. Thank god we didn’t delay, Rest in peace to the people who passed this sad shooting.
