She still deserves jail time and banned from the medical field for life
I really hope she sues the hospital for defamation of character
It's not about forgiveness or intent. It's about FINALLY improving patient safety. 250,000 to 400,000 patients per YEAR are killed by medical mistakes. References:

"I'm sorry your mom will never come back home and I killed her" white privilege
People don’t understand what us nurses have to deal with. Low staffing, too many patients to one nurse, long hours. Mistakes DO happen. We aren’t perfect!!
Probation? Lmao let it be a male nurse, he'll get life
i feel so sad for everyone, poor nurse they do so much for us
No different than when a cop kills a black kid. Just using their position of power to abuse the vulnerable.
Nurses are worse than cops actually.
There will now be a serious shortage for Healthcare professionals now. Who would want to be involved?
She is a nurse that actually admitted her mistake when 100s would never have said it.
If this was a black nurse she would have got the death penalty
Lately every time I go to a ob appointment these nurses don’t seem to know what they’re talking about sometimes they’re answers to questions are very ignorant I’m scared to give birth it seems like anybody could get hired in healthcare now a days because of how bad hey need people
The sentencing was definitely lenient, but eh charge and conviction are warranted. You cant kill someone on accident and have no consequences. I work in the trade industry in I make a mistake that ends up killing one of my guys I am liable. If you get in your car and accidently hit and kill someone, your liable. Nurses/Doctors are no different
She clearly was not a Harold Shipman , sad story all around . Too much pressure on these people
Got away with murder
for sure, its not intentional.. she saved many lives for caring for other patients, this is just a honest mistake.. be strong
Being overworked and underpaid, with a high responsibility on people's lives. Oh, nursing must be wonderful.
The hospital's CEO's should be sitting there instead of that nurse! My wife she is a nurse as well and they always make them over work, never hire new nurses when understaffed, hospital CEO's all they care is for money, they try to save every penny as possible. She is just the scapegoat.
Who was this gigolo giving us the news don’t you guys have a dress code suit and a tie and maybe a haircut
I bet u if the patient was black she wouldn’t never got charged.
I’m sorry, but the government needs to pay nurses more and improve working conditions for nurses.
God would want us to forgive so I respect the families for doing so. We’re all human mistakes happen.
I sure hate to think this was a set up between family and the nurse these days crazy mofos are out there son was to calm, I would've wanted that nurses head for her fkn stupidity, 250k deaths from retards how TF isn't this investigated more, I wouldn't even want that idiot nurse to make me a fkn big Mac let alone be near my family
Bullshit! She should have spent some time in prison to set a precedent. 3 months big deal in the prison system!
It touched my heart to see the family of the deceased mother forgiving the nurse .. wow !!
Gods light is going to shine on that family ..
This nurse needs to forgive herself ..
No excuse , no room for mistakes that lead to death. Specially when there are rules in place to force you to double and triple check whatre doing.
250k people die every year from medical errors? so in 10 years, 2.5 mil people die from medical errors? why does that number seem so incredibly high? I mean, covid just hit a "million deaths" (i do not believe it is that high and numbers are fabricated), but that is a HUGE of deaths from medical malpractice for it not to be talked about stringently.
