I did it twice , 1st when I was 13 I could see the rainbow in my field so me and my friend ran to the rainbow about 100yrds from my house and when we got to it , it seemed to always move about 50ft ahead of us but we where so close. Than another time me and my lovely wife saw one close to us and it did the same thing ever , but it was ok because it was the most beautifullist moment of my life , by the sunshining on us with the cool drizzle of rain gently raining on us, and holding my love while kissing and watching the show GOD has blessed us with.

17. I had this happen once on my sailboat. I had just come out of a heavy rain squall and the dark skies had turned the water inky black then a rainbow came out just a few feet from the bow of the boat and turned the black to a blaze of gold. There is gold (light) at the end of a rainbow but you can never catch it as the rainbow moves forward with you. Only lasted a couple of minutes. It was an amazing thing to witness so close. Cell phones didn't have cameras back then.

21. Ok not tying to be a party pooper but a "rainbow" is a full circle. In the sky you see a circle rainbows do not have an end. It looks like it because of the reflection in the water.

22. About 25+ years ago, my niece and I drove through a rainbow. Literally through it. We will never forget it. The colors were all over our car inside and outside. All over the dash. We were both amazed at what was happening. We didn’t own any easy to carry along electronics to video. This is something we will carry in our minds and hearts forever. A once in a lifetime experience for sure. 🌈 We looked for the Pot of Gold with no luck. But what an awesome blessing to have experience that miracle of nature.
