What a great human being Frank Robinson was…He was the idol of Mike Schmidt, another Hall of Famer…I shall never forget the 1971 World Series between the Baltimore Orioles and the Pittsburgh Pirates…That series had Hall of Famers on both teams…Frank Robinson, Brooks Robinson, Jim Palmer, Earl Weaver (as a manager), Willie Stargell and Roberto Clemente. Robinson and Clemente were one of a kind… for sure…Rest in peace Frank Robinson…I shall never forget you…

  2. I was in Baltimore when Frank Robinson was traded to the Orioles. His superb play helped start the Orioles championship years. Frank and those great teams made it easy for me to fall in love with the game. Thank You Frank Robinson.
