The Crystal Symphony, a luxury cruise ship, was scheduled to return to Florida on Saturday, but was diverted to the Bahamas after a judge granted an order to seize the vessel as part of a lawsuit.

I worked in the cruise industry for three years. If anybody is interested, if you're booking a cruise, check the flag that they're flying under. Most lines choose flags of convenience which means lower standards. If you care about how crew is treated, if you care about getting to your destination, check the flag that it's registered under. Cruise lines registered anywhere in the Gulf of Mexico for example, they are sailing under flags of convenience.
